The injection molding process is generally divided into six steps: closing the mold, shooting glue, pressure preservation, cooling, opening the mold and ejecting the product. Each molding step represents the different stages of injection molding. 1. Mold closing and mold opening process
The opening and closing action of the injection molding machine is completed by the locking system. For the hydraulic mechanical injection molding machine, the opening and closing of the mold is mainly carried out by the movement of the dumpling, and the locking force is applied to the mold when the mold is locked to overcome the tension of the cavity during the injection molding. The main function of the opening action is to take out the product and enter the production of the next cycle.
2. Shooting glue, pressure preserving and plasticizing
The action of injection glue, pressure preservation and plasticizing is mainly completed by the plasticizing system of the injection molding machine. In a cycle of the injection molding machine, a certain amount of plastic can be heated and plasticized within a specified time, and the molten plastic can be injected into the mold cavity through the screw under a certain pressure and speed. After injection, the molten material injected into the mold cavity is kept in shape.
3. Cooling process
In the cooling stage of products, the high temperature melt passes through the nozzle in front of the barrel and the casting process of the mold, which has a great influence on the production cycle. Therefore, reasonable cooling time should be set according to the production process requirements.
4. Product ejection
The ejection of the product is completed by the ejection system of the injection machine. After the injection molding machine is opened, the product drawing ejection system is forward, and the ejection of the product is back. The ejection mode of the product can be set to maintain, back, middle ejection mode according to the requirements of the parts.
Product ejection, also known as demoulding, is the last link in an injection molding cycle. Although the product has been cold-set forming, but the demoulding still has a very important impact on the quality of the product, the improper demoulding way, may lead to the uneven force of the product in the demoulding, ejecting the product deformation and other defects.
