In the field of high-end manufacturing, PEEK (polyetheretherketone) is widely used in aviation, medical and semiconductor equipment due to its high temperature resistance (343℃), high strength, low smoke and non-toxicity, as well as excellent chemical stability. However, its high melting point, low fluidity and crystallization sensitivity pose severe challenges to mold materials, thermal management and structural accuracy. As one of the few factories with practical delivery capabilities that can produce PEEK molds, Fanstar has successfully mass-produced multiple sets of PEEK injection molds for North American Tier 1 suppliers in the aviation industry and European medical equipment brands, and has become a reliable factory capable of producing PEEK molds.

We are well aware that a factory capable of manufacturing PEEK molds must go beyond conventional designs: Fanstar uses H13 or improved S136 mold steel, and the key sliders and cores are treated with TD coating (hardness ≥ 2800HV), with a temperature resistance of over 350℃; through Moldflow thermal-mechanical coupling analysis, the shear rate of the gate and the cooling sequence are optimized to control the crystallization uniformity; the conformal cooling water channels combined with a ±1℃ high-precision mold temperature system ensure dimensional stability (key tolerances ±0.02mm); the exhaust depth is strictly controlled within 0.015–0.02mm to prevent high-temperature scorching. In aviation molds, we have completed the mass production of components such as sensor housings and cable connectors that meet FAR 25.853 certification; in electromechanical housing molds, we have achieved one-piece molding of high-temperature connectors; and we can also provide special materials and precise structural support for high-end pen molds.
