In high value-added products such as micro motors, high-end pen mechanisms and aviation sensors, the manufacturing level of small precision gear injection molds directly determines the performance and lifespan of the entire machine. Fanstar focuses on developing small precision gear injection molds with a modulus of 0.2–1.0 and a tooth profile tolerance of ≤ ±0.005mm. It provides customers in the global electromechanical, consumer electronics and industrial equipment industries with high consistency and long-lasting transmission component solutions.

The truly small and precise gear injection molds go far beyond mere shape replication. Fanstar uses slow wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM) to process the gear electrodes, ensuring that the tooth profiles are free of burrs and reverse cones. The cavity steel is selected from wear-resistant mirror finish steel S136 or powder metallurgy steel ASP23, which undergoes vacuum heat treatment and TD coating strengthening to effectively resist long-term friction from engineering plastics such as POM and PA. Combined with a high-precision mold temperature control system and optimized holding pressure, it eliminates shrinkage deformation, ensuring low gear meshing noise and smooth transmission in mass production. Typical applications include electric pen core drive gears, miniature reduction gearbox components, and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) servo gear sets, etc. Each mold has a lifespan of over 500,000 cycles and supports fully automatic ejection and online inspection.

Apart from small precision gear injection molds, Fanstar also possesses the dual certification capabilities of AS9100 and IATF 16949 in the fields of 64-hole high-gloss pen molds, PEEK aerospace components, and IP67 electrical and mechanical enclosure molds.
