The multi-material co-injection molding mold, by integrating hard structural frames and soft rubberized areas in the same product, has become a core process for enhancing functional integration and user experience. The technical challenges of multi-material co-injection molds lie in material compatibility, precise injection timing, and reliable interface bonding. Fanstar scientifically designs the gate positions and switching windows through Moldflow multi-material flow and bonding simulation, ensuring that there is no overflow, no delamination, and that the bonding strength meets the standards when TPE/TPU is combined with PC, ABS or PP; the molds adopt high-precision servo rotating discs (with positioning accuracy of ±0.01mm), sliding mold cores or layered structures to ensure synchronous multi-station operations; the key sealing surfaces are mirror-polished (Ra ≤ 0.2μm) and treated to prevent cross-contamination, eliminating material intermixing. In pen molds, a high-gloss hard rubber and anti-slip soft rubber are integrated into one piece without the need for secondary assembly; in mechanical and electrical enclosure molds, the shell and IP67-level sealing rings are simultaneously injected; in aviation molds, the co-injection requirements for FAR 25.853 flame-retardant and low-smoke materials are met.
