Main injection molding conditions of PET:
1. Temperature of injection molding cylinder.
PET molding temperature range is narrow, the temperature will directly affect the performance of the product. If the temperature is too low, plasticization is not good, so that the plastic parts appear sag, lack of materials and other defects; On the contrary, too high temperature will cause overflow, nozzle salivation, color darkening, mechanical strength decline, and even cause degradation.
2. Injection mold temperature.
Injection mold temperature directly affects the cooling rate and crystallinity of the molten material, and the properties of the plastic parts are different with different crystallinity. Usually, the mold temperature is controlled in 100~140℃, when forming thin-walled plastic parts, it is desirable to have a small value; When forming thick - wall plastic parts, the value should be large.
3. Injection pressure of injection molding.
The fluidity of PET melt is good, easy to form, usually using medium pressure, injection pressure determination, should consider the viscosity of PET, the type and number of packing, the location and size of the gate, the shape and size of the plastic parts, die temperature, injection molding machine type.
At present, PET resin injection molding technology is used in the following aspects:
1. Applied to injection molding products with high corrosion resistance requirements
Manufacture all kinds of chemical containers and parts with pure F4 resin, such as pipes, storage tanks, reaction kettle, equipment lining, valves, pump bodies, joints, filtration materials, separation materials and all products in contact with corrosive media.
2. Applied to injection molding products with high wear-resisting requirements
F4 is filled with wear-resistant modification treatment, which can be used for wear-resistant materials, such as rotation, static seal ring, piston ring, washer, disc, seat, bearing, bearing bush, slider, guide rail, etc
3. Applied to injection molding products with high insulation requirements
High temperature resistant and high frequency electrical insulation products are manufactured with pure F4 resin, such as high frequency insulators, high frequency cables, damp resistant cables, capacitor coils, motor groove insulation and integrated circuit boards.
Due to the hydrolysis caused by the reaction with water, material pre-drying equipment must be set up during the injection molding of PET resin.
