4. Electroplating process

Definition: The process of forming a metal layer with good uniform binding force on the surface of the cavity of an injection mold by means of electrolysis.

Application scenario: It can improve the surface hardness and finish of injection mold cavity. It is suitable for injection molding products whose surface requirements are not particularly high.

5. Fire pattern processing technology

Definition: A surface treatment process in which the injection mold cavity is produced by EDM processing by adjusting the current. At present, the more commonly used fire pattern standard is VD13400.

Application scenario: The fire pattern is clear and the surface texture is good. It is suitable for injection molding products with high requirements.
