The key challenges in developing flame-retardant V0 grade injection molds lie in the fact that the flame-retardant additives significantly reduce the material's fluidity, intensify the corrosion and wear on the mold, and are prone to causing black spots, silver streaks or weakened fusion lines. Fanstar has specifically adopted high-purity S136 or 420 stainless steel materials. The key flow channels and the surface of the mold cavity are subjected to mirror polishing (Ra ≤ 0.2 μm) and anti-sticking coating treatment. Through Moldflow flow analysis, the gate position, wall thickness transition and vacuum exhaust design are precisely optimized to prevent gas entrapment and scorching. At the same time, a continuous cooling water circuit and a zone-controlled thermal flow channel system are integrated to effectively control shrinkage and warpage, ensuring stable dimensions and reliable assembly in mass production.
