Fanstar's Injection Mold Technology Has Helped An Overseas Stationery Brand Achieve A Yield Rate of 98% And A Cost Reduction of 18% Per Unit.

Fanstar recently completed a watercolor pen pen shaft injection mold project, providing mold development support for a Turkish international stationery brand. After the project was launched, the product yield rate increased from 90% to 98%, and the unit cost decreased by 18%, providing support for the customer to launch products earlier and achieve stable mass production.

Currently, the stationery manufacturing industry is facing multiple challenges such as accelerated product iterations, shortened batch delivery cycles, and increased requirements for appearance consistency. For overseas orders, pen molds not only need to meet high-tension production requirements but also need to consider size stability, concentricity control, and long-term durability, which puts higher demands on mold design, processing accuracy, and debugging capabilities.

In response to these requirements, Fanstar adopted the Haver pen mold structure in this project and combined it with previous molding analysis, precise processing and assembly debugging to optimize the mold stability and batch injection performance. The related watercolor pen injection molds have features such as precise multi-chamber design, high concentricity, and support for batch injection production. The mold life can reach 1 million mold cycles and can meet the requirements of export customers for continuous supply and long-term use.

From the actual application results, this project effectively reduced rework and material waste, helping the customer improve yield rate and cost control capabilities. For pen manufacturers, stable mold performance means more controllable delivery times, more consistent product quality, and a more suitable large-scale delivery capability for overseas markets.
