The core challenge of the aviation sensor housing mold lies in the fact that the materials are mostly PEEK, LCP or PPS, which are high-temperature special engineering plastics with poor fluidity and sensitive to shrinkage; the structure often contains thin walls, micro-pores, sealing grooves and EMI shielding features, which impose extremely high requirements on the mold's precision and demolding reliability. Fanstar uses H13 or S136 modified steel, and the key forming surfaces are treated with TD coating (hardness ≥ 2800HV), with a temperature resistance of up to 350℃; through Moldflow thermal-mechanical coupling analysis, the gate position and cooling layout are optimized to control the crystallization uniformity; the exhaust depth is precisely controlled within 0.015–0.02mm to avoid high-temperature scorching; all components are assembled in a class 10,000 clean room, eliminating particle contamination and fully supporting NADCAP audits.
